Obviously, you know that Holiday Boutique is a major shopping show, but did you realize there are several other fun things to do? Here’s a sampling of what we have cooking!
All throughout the show is the Festival of Trees, made up of unique holiday trees and wreaths that are decorated by various groups. And we mean SERIOUSLY decorated. You’re going to love looking at all the different trees with clever themes (last year’s Prince-themed tree was a huge hit!) All of these fantastically-decorated trees will be for sale via a silent auction during the Show. Just imagine all of the lights and sparkle going on with these original, creatively decorated trees. How much fun would it be to have one of them in your own home! The whole Festival of Trees event is being organized by the Minneapolis Fire Department, and 100% of the sale proceeds will benefit Operation Warm: Coats for Kids Foundation. So be sure to save time to browse the trees, pick your favorite and add your bid to the silent auction.
There is also the Designer Rooms & Mannequin Display. These three holiday-themed rooms by At Home will feature mannequins wearing Christopher Straub-designed outfits inspired by each room’s aesthetic. Room themes are Date Night Up North, Whimsical Wonderland and Dazzle the Halls.
Friday from 5-9 p.m. is Ladies Night Out. Picture lots of prize giveaways, a Selfie Station with legit firefighters, a chance to meet Falen of KDWB-FM, and of course, snacks and drinks for purchase. Grab your girlfriends and enjoy this opportunity to let loose!
Saturday is loaded with fun, including Hero Day and free admission for active and retired military (with valid I.D.). You can get into the seasonal spirit from 12-2 p.m. by playing Holiday Games with Amy James from K102. Rounding out the fun is a Mother Daughter Night from 5-9 p.m. featuring KOOL-108’s Lee Valsvik and a whole lot of prizes.
The Minneapolis Holiday Boutique takes over the U.S. Bank Stadium from November 10th-12th. What are you waiting for? Get your tickets NOW!
